Extra silicone QuickFit watch band with sapphire models

It looks like some of the the sapphire models come with an extra band. But Garmin doesn't specify which type/color. Does anyone know if it's a duplicate of the one that comes with the watch, or is it a different color, for example.

Thanks for that - missed it when i read the review. Oddly Garmin doesn't list those details.

I was considering the sapphire since you also get an additional band, but honestly I can't imagine wearing the yellow band ever. So the value proposition isn't that good for me.

It looks like it's a kind of Greenish Yellow Nike Volt type colour if that helps?

I agree. It would be a great option to choose from a selection of bands (leather, suede, silicon etc.).
  • I don't mind the look of the yellow band. I'll personally probably never wear it but it's not bad.. I mainly just use the black sports band and a leather band on the 3 HR so it will probably be the same for me with the 5...

Pre-ordered Fenix5 Sapphire today. I will probably use the yellow band when on vacation.

Have to say I agree with you on that yellow colour.

I run early mornings. The yellow band is just one more way to increase visibility, which I imagine is what Garmin was going for by including it. Makes sense.

+1, if the extra band was pretty much any other colour (except pink) I might have been tempted by the Sapphire.
  • Yellow is nice. Pretty florescent to prevent run over by automobiles.
