I think it will be good to have one central place to have the latest news people here about the updated release date. DCR said it looks like early March. The garmin site says 5-8 weeks but thats the default time on all new products. Everywhere I read it says "By end of Q1" which is the end of March. Rei still doesnt have it listed yet either. Has anyone heard anything more specific?
UPS does not pickup on weekends so even though they've assigned it a tracking # my guess is it won't actually go out until Monday and you'll have it Tuesday...

You are correct... mine from Paragon was issued with a UPS tracking yesterday, but I don't think it will be pick up till tomorrow. Already wait for the Fenix 5 more than 8 weeks.. couple. Ore days won't hurt.
My 5 sapphire from Paragon arrived this AM.. Very, very pleased with their service!
I didn't think I'd like the yellow band, but I seriously dig it! I am probably going to sell the non sapphire slate gray I received last week to a friend who was debating on if to get one or not and keep the sapphire for myself...
