I think it will be good to have one central place to have the latest news people here about the updated release date. DCR said it looks like early March. The garmin site says 5-8 weeks but thats the default time on all new products. Everywhere I read it says "By end of Q1" which is the end of March. Rei still doesnt have it listed yet either. Has anyone heard anything more specific?
My Amazon UK order is still showing as pre-ordered and arriving tomorrow. I've had it before with Amazon pre-orders though where they indicate you'll be receiving it on release day right up to the night before (i.e. tonight) and then you get an email saying it'll be delayed as the date was only an estimate provided to them by their suppliers and they haven't got any stock etc etc... I guess I'll know in a few hours time though.

Yeah, they claim they'll be shipping my leather strap tomorrow as well. If they don't I'll cancel and buy somewhere that has them on hand.
While I'm not planning on buying an F5 until June I'm interested to see it works out of the gate and looking forward to hear early adopters opinions and results. Hopefully nothing more than small growing pains that are resolved quickly.
Funny thing... pre-ordered on HRM on Monday a 5 Sapphire and got shipped today. Went to CT to cancel my pre-order from 01/04 after they told me on Monday that they didnt expect to have my SKU yet and they just told me it was supposed to ship tomorrow... Cancelled and now watching the tracking of HRM.
