Interesting. The display actually looks better for brightness and reflections, as well as the expected resolution.
Not sure how much you can tell about the new performance stats from the Chronos threads; according to dcrainmaker it takes a couple of weeks to identify trends, according to the first beta it takes a week to populate fully, and the Chronos beta updates are coming in about every two weeks and by the sound of it resetting the data collection on that. A lot of the comments I saw came down to not having done enough sessions for any information to be shown in the first place.
I'm all for new analytics, I'd even say I'm a sucker for that, but at the end of the day it's probably more reasonable not to put too much faith in what are always going to be "estimates". It's probably fine for a TEv1 which is very broad or VO2Max to see the trending but the more specific it gets the more prone to error it could be...not sure LTHR has been very useful vs deriving it from actual race times
I've also seen the Tempe sensor get varying readings depending on whether the direction I'm running keeps it out of direct sunlight or not.
Well shucks. I was pretty much decided on the F5S thinking that the size difference between the F3/F5X and the F5 wasn't great enough. These photos has me rethinking that not only because of the size but because it looks like the display is much better which my aging eyes will really appreciate.
