Release date thread

I think it will be good to have one central place to have the latest news people here about the updated release date. DCR said it looks like early March. The garmin site says 5-8 weeks but thats the default time on all new products. Everywhere I read it says "By end of Q1" which is the end of March. Rei still doesnt have it listed yet either. Has anyone heard anything more specific?

I just order a Black/Black Fenix 5 Sapphire from Paragon Sports in New York; the sales told me it will be shipped tomorrow to arrive on Monday.
Cancelling my Pre-Order with CT now...

By the way, Paragon told me they have 20 Fenix 5 Sapphire available as of now.

Funny REI has the 5S in colors but not black and the 5 is only in black. Still no sign of the granite 5 out anywhere :(

Most overnight use next day saver options which will not deliver on a weekend.. Weekend delivery would probably cost 3x the standard overnight rate so I highly doubt their overnight shipping option for $30 includes weekend delivery..

My 5X arrived yesterday first thing in the morning from Cotswolds Outdoors, having read through the thread it doesn't sound like there are many 5X out there? I love mine, a nicely put together watch.

I think you're right, I ordered mine from Cotswold early evening of 15th Jan but they didn't have enough for mine from this first bunch. I should be pretty much next in line.
