Release date thread

I think it will be good to have one central place to have the latest news people here about the updated release date. DCR said it looks like early March. The garmin site says 5-8 weeks but thats the default time on all new products. Everywhere I read it says "By end of Q1" which is the end of March. Rei still doesnt have it listed yet either. Has anyone heard anything more specific?

It's either people not paying attention to the dates or scammers buying who will later file a charge back.. I can't see anyone who notices the date buying it and yet 2 have sold... Odd indeed...

As previously discussed in this thread, B&H is legit and their dates are normally spot on... If it still says the 16th then they more than likely have not filled up with preorders for what they have incoming..

If you want to be sure then chat with them or call and ask if they enough coming in to cover your order. I chatted with them a few days ago and was told my existing order will be fulfilled and shipped by the 16th..

I have a order in with them and Clever Training.. Whomever ships 1st wins! My guess at this point is that B&H will ship to me 1st as I was told by Clever Training I am about mid way down their list..

My status @ bh now says "On Order"; I think that's new. Did yours change as well?

That's normal.. It will go to 'On Order' after it clears their processing department.. It will stay in that state until it ships. I think mine has said 'On Order' since a few days after it was placed..

I order at B&H Feb 28 and status is "On Order" also.

Just went to 03/12/17 @ 12:15 est heartratemonitors.com and they had one black F5 sapphire in stock. My F5S is still saying March shipping.

So I've been deciding on if I want the 5 sapphire or the 5X but both of my preorders are for the 5... Went to HRM.com based on your post and BAM! A 5X shown as in stock! I am skeptical so I ordered it with overnight shipping.. Says delivery is expected on Tuesday for the 5X.... What makes me think it's legit is I went back to the page after ordering and it was then showing as a preorder again instead of as being in stock..

Tick tock, time will tell.. I'll update if I get shipping notice...

Yeah the order I posted above was for the 5X.. I should get shipping notice tomorrow since I am having it sent overnight and it said delivery on the 14th...

I have a 5 sapphire preordered from CT and B&H so if the 5X was legit in stock and ships tomorrow I will cancel both of my 5 preorders...
