I think it will be good to have one central place to have the latest news people here about the updated release date. DCR said it looks like early March. The garmin site says 5-8 weeks but thats the default time on all new products. Everywhere I read it says "By end of Q1" which is the end of March. Rei still doesnt have it listed yet either. Has anyone heard anything more specific?
Not sure if people noticed, but the CIQ app store now has the ability to view apps for the 5s/f5/f5x and that's often the sign that folks will be getting those devices soon!
(It's also a sign to developers that if their apps aren't ready yet, it's time to get in gear :) )
Some odd dates in Europe, CleverTraining are now showing April like Amazon.de and Amazon.fr but Amazon UK shows March 16th...which doesn't make a lot sense but who knows!
well that makes it official... the Fenix 5 / 5X at a minimum are for sale somewhere in the world to the public on March 8, 2017. let's see when it hits the USA and where is my 5S? :-)
My Amazon UK pre-order for the 5 silver bezel, blue band still shows Arriving April 1st. I do see they have updated the black bezels and 5s models to March 16th though.
They got it so quick bc its Made in PRC as always. Its a good sign its coming soon.

I was just on an online chat with Cotswold Outdoor, they told me that they don't know yet when they're getting them in. I asked if they think they would be finding out soon and let them know that Amazon are shipping theirs next week and the guy cut me off.
I may cancel my Sapphire preorder after that and order a standard from Amazon - do you think I'll regret going with a non-sapphire?
