I think it will be good to have one central place to have the latest news people here about the updated release date. DCR said it looks like early March. The garmin site says 5-8 weeks but thats the default time on all new products. Everywhere I read it says "By end of Q1" which is the end of March. Rei still doesnt have it listed yet either. Has anyone heard anything more specific?
I chatted with B&H today and they still are saying the 16th for the 5... Told me the 5S and 5X are mid April for them but the 5 in sapphire and non sapphire are still slated for March 16th...

They said the same to me about a week ago, and I was very careful to make sure they confirmed that it wasn't a mistake and they were actually getting them on the 16th. B&H is usually good with their pre-orders and their availability estimates so I'm hopeful they'll be right again here.
Clever Training still isn't saying anything other than the 5 "series" will be out by the end of the month for 5/5S/5X. DCRainmaker still believes March. Hopefully we won't find out 2/3rds of the new models (5S/5X) won't ship till mid-April, but I get that the middle ground 5 is likely to be the most popular. Ugh, I've had a 5S black sapphire on order since day 1, the waiting sucks when I currently am without a Garmin (switched away a couple years back but maintain workout copies on Garmin Connect) and want to be back yesterday.
Looking at the delivery detail Cotswold are saying:
"PRE-ORDER NOW This item is now available to pre-order. We currently expect orders placed now to be despatched in mid April but please note that this could change."
Looks like we're going into Q2...
But as it says, that's for orders placed now. It doesn't mean that pre-orders placed earlier won't be fulfilled earlier than that.
