Just curious.. I may have missed a post or a review, but is it known what kind of GPS chipset will be in the 5X? (If you look at the text strings in the 0.88 firmware you get an idea, but that text can be anything and be absolutely meaningless).
I guess it does not really matter. F3HR with its issues was still more accurate than Suunto Spartan with SirfStar. So it really comes down to the whole package, Chip, firmware and antenna design.

Absolutely correct. Faults will only get rectified if they are reported. But that must be through the proper Garmin Support channels. Little to no point posting here and expecting Garmin to sort something out. There might be folk here who can help decide whether the problem is a user issue or a genuine fault. Ultimately Garmin needs to be made aware if there is a problem.
There are people who just like to complain. There are trolls who just like to troll. There are people who have problematic devices.
The whole package will be radically different from everything that has gone before leading to a significantly enhanced user experience that surpasses all other devices currently in the market place.
