Why Hydration Tracking isnt avalible on fenix 5?

i really can't see why this feature is not compatible.
The only cause i can imagine is the mercadological cause: make more money to Garmin.
It shoud be easy: download the hydratation app from IQ Connect and just use it.
This actualy sounds as an disrespect to us clients that support Garmin brand around the globe.

You are correct. I can't fault a company for trying to make money. If I were a shareholder, I would hope they would. Unfortunately, this is going to disappoint some customers that still own older models. From comparing models, it looks like hydration became available on the fenix 6, which was released in 2019. From then on, all of the fenix watches have hydration.
