Is the Garmin Fenix 5 Plus supposed to auto upload workouts to the Garmin app?

Is the Garmin Fenix 5 Plus supposed to auto upload workouts to the Garmin app? I am able to manually upload my workouts from the watch to the app on my phone by opening up the app on the phone, but I thought they were supposed to auto upload. Any idea?

Are you referring to a workout or an activity? When you stop and save an activity, it should automatically sync with your Garmin Connect app on your phone via Bluetooth. Unless for some reason the BT connection is not working and/or you're not on the Internet on your phone. Or the app is not running in the background (even when closed).

Check the Connect Mobile app if auto upload is enabled in Device > General > Auto Upload Activities.

I was able to fix the issue by resetting the wifi connection on the watch. Thanks!
