Garmin logo freezes even when doing Master Reset

Hi!

I've been using my Fenix 5 Plus for a year and a half with no problems and suddenly, after synchronising a track and when I was about to start the activity, the Garmin logo appeared completely frozen on the screen. Nothing I tried to do worked until after living it off for a few hours I could properly do a Master Reset.

After "initializing maps" it comes back to the Garmin Logo...

I don't know what to do, as any technique using buttons apparently doesn't work.

Thanks!

There may be a corrupted file on the watch. If you follow one of the reset procedures described here: https://support.garmin.com/en-US/?faq=wxPmdnWsev1xGRUf58oDC8 and make sure to choose delete all data, it may fix it.

Alternatively, if you can still access the watch on a computer via USB, you can back-up the contents of the watch and then delete the most likely culprits (everything in \Garmin\Activity) that may fix it. If not, it may need deleting more files but this is a good starting point.
