Garmin, stop waking me up!

A new software release, and another night of being woken up multiple times by my Fenix.

Come on Garmin. You've got a bug - fix it.  Every time the software is updated, the "Do Not Disturb During Sleep" feature stops working, and it needs to be turned off and back on again to take effect.  Multiple people have reported it, and it's outright annoying because it wakes people up!

It's crazy that this has been going on for so long, for a bug that impacts peoples sleep, and which has to be relatively easy to fix...

I guess there's a positive - no need to monitor the forums to see when there's a new version. Whenever I get woken up in the middle of the night by a vibrating watch I know they've released a new version!!

  • Garmin has a long and rich history of not fixing bugs that annoy zillions of their customers. Legendary customer focus, not.

  • To minimize surprises if you haven't already done so: Settings - System - Software Update - Auto Update - Off

Still need to monitor the forums to decide when it's safe to update & remember to reset the do not disturb when you do but your sleep may improve
