I am sorry you continue to have an issue. Since it continued with your replacement watch, it should rule out your watch as the cause but all your treadmill data is coming directly from your watch - so it does not make any sense why your issue has continued.
You should be able to calibrate your watch as long as you run a mile or more on your treadmill: Calibrating the Treadmill Distance. This Support Center article talks about why you might not see distance and calibration - Why am I Missing the Treadmill Calibration Option. To record distance and pace while using your treadmill, your arms will need to be moving, or a foot pod sensor will be needed.
Please be sure your software has been updated on your watch received. It should be on software version 17.30 when you go to Settings > About. If you continue to have issues, please reach out to Outdoor Product Support again.
