GPS FORMAT

I have just noticed that my garmin dual grid display shows same coordinates format in both fields!! I went through settings and changed the position format into MGRS but that resulted in changing my GPS button format as well! Any idea how I can fix this?

What are you talking about! Garmin has also enabled the Tactical App on its Instinct Standard Editiin! + that didn't quite answer my question!

Question: Dual Grid shows two different formats ONLY WHEN choosing a new one rather than the default in the settings menu, but that changes our GPS locations default format to the newly chosen format, is there a way for us to keep the old default format on our GPS button once we make the change on the Dual Grid App?

No. There is not a way to keep the old format. Only on our Tactical watches can you do exactly what you are describing.
