Amazon music not syncing - hangs at 0%

Dear support,

I know there are many posts with this problem.

I got my fenix 5x+ new yesterday. I installed the Garmin Connect app, set up WIFI and installed the Amazon Music app.
The sync is stuck at 0%. The problem seems to have been going on for months or years.
A reinstall, re-setup has brought no success.
The fenix 5x+ is on the latest software version.

Until when can we all expect a correction of the problem?

  • I am sorry you are having issues downloading Amazon music to your new watch. Please note, not able to download an Amazon music playlist is not an active issue and your issue should be able to be resolved. The number #1 reason there may be an issue downloading Amazon music the first time, is this step noted in the Support Center article blow: (Amazon has only licensed music use in a handful of countries so GPS must be acquired on your watch to position you in a certified country before you proceed.)

    • Secure Clock: This feature is used to synchronize the time on your watch. If you have never used the GPS on your watch, or if the battery has been completely discharged recently, you may be prompted to enable GPS after accessing the Amazon Music app. GPS can be enabled by choosing an outdoor activity.
