Emergency assistance

I've recently bought a Garmin fenix 5x plus and I'm planning on going on a few solo runs here where I'm currently in holiday. To feel safer I tried setting up garmin emergent assistance but after having added the emergency contacts,agreeing to everything and even setting up live track and everything, when I click the emergency contacts tab on my 5x plus, it says "Set up through garmin connect mobile" I'm starting to get frustrated because I've been trying for a couple of hours. Any advice?

Hi Gary. The inReach product is using a GPS satellite constellation for all text and emergency communication. Where as the emergency assistance on a watch is for when your smartphone is within cellular…

Hi Gary. The inReach product is using a GPS satellite constellation for all text and emergency communication. Where as the emergency assistance on a watch is for when your smartphone is within cellular tower connection range, to message your family and friends your GPS coordinates.
