15.40 serious problems altimeter/barometer

During the last weeks I used my F5+ in the mountains and at the sea with firmware 15.40 and the altimeter/barometer works as It should with absolutely no issues. This means during activities and also in the Garmin widget without an activity (this was brokenin one of the previous versions). Normally I callibrate manually and automatic calibration during an activity is switched off.

...during activity it's ok ! but if you don't calibrate you can find big surprises

The ambient pressure changes with the weather — what a surprise!

As I have not done downhill rides, I have not perceived that potential issue.

go from 1015 mbar to 1035 mbar in a few seconds I think it's a nice surprise also for me who surfed after hurricane Irene

Did you spot any issues setting the automatic calibration during the activity on? I have terrible altimeter data even manually calibrating from a known point... I both tried to lock the baro into "Altimeter" mode (worse results than "Auto"). I usually use it in the mountains.
