Synchronisation with bluetooth off?

Hi,

I recently noticed that my activities are being synchronised without me activating bluetooth (I usually have bluetooth off to save battery). I am on v14.00.

Did anyone noticed the same? Is there an option to control this? Despite being a bit convenient, I would prefer the bluetooth stays off when it’s supposed to be off.

Have you enabled automatic upload of activities over wifi, by any chance? Settings -> Wi-Fi

Thanks! I guess that was it! I cannot remember having it enabled maybe it came with a firmware update…

I didn’t know the watch is apparently constantly checking for WIFI. Shouldn’t that also drain battery?

I disabled it now, let’s see how that’ll affect battery lifetime.

If wifi upload is active, it's not contantly looking for wifi, only after there's a new activity to upload.
