activity not uploading after (solved) sync error

Yesterday I recorded a multisport activity using my Fenix 5 Plus (not the first time). Afterwards my connect app was not syncing right anymore with my watch. As well the activity, heart rate and other data was not visible. The syncing gave an error halfway the syncing process; so that explained why some data was still visible.

This morning I successfully synced almost all data using the Garmin Express app on my computer. However, the multisport activity was still not visible on my mobile or connect site. I have tried to upload this .fit file by copying it on my computer from my watch and trying to upload it by the connect site. However, I get an error when trying this upload and since I do not know how to open a .fit file in another way, I can not examine the problem further. Hopefully, somebody has an idea how to upload and view my multisport activity?
