Livetrack is useless for the purpose it's intended for

So what exactly is it useful for? 

If you do something like this and your supporters want to know when you approach them, especially if they want to see you on different positions of the course:

So you have to be a famous sportsman to take advantage of the feature, got it! 

I still believe it would be way more useful if you could get actual hard location information from it... It could make a huge difference in an accident situation even if garmin doesn't advertise it for that use. Maybe we could get a setting to share or not share that information when setting up livetrack in connect. Is there any way to request features to garmin? 

Incident detection is only compatible with some activities (Running, walking, biking, hiking) I use my watch to fly paragliders and use a different activity app, it wouldn't detect an incident automatically and if I´m unconscious I wouldn't be able to manually request for assistance would I?

I use it just for awareness for my wife. She knows this is not going to save my life. Although it would probably be a week before she would wonder where I was.  I think the point is that it should not be relied upon as a secure method in the event of an emergency. However, if that's what you really want, there are the InReach devices with the SOS capability. Even then, I'm sure Garmin's lawyers have disclaimers to cover lawsuits in the event of a catastrophic failure. 

So I have to pay for an extra 350$ device + service when they could actually just add a navigate to button on the Livetrack interface?

What I'm asking is... Is there any way to request the feature to garmin? It wouldnt take them long and if there's legal reasons behind it, they could have you agree to their terms if you enable the feature
