Audio prompts in km every mile

Seen this question asked a few times with no solution, so I’ll give it a try.
I’m getting all the audio prompts in km but they are announced every mile. Same in the app, everything in km but laps devided into every mile. I would like it all to be in km.

I had a different problem with audio alerts (I had them set to 'off' but they would sound anyway) and it was fixed by removing the watch from the mobile app, and then adding it again. It probably was something with syncing settings that did not work properly. Maybe it helps in your case too.

Thanks for the suggestion, tried it and unfortunately it didn’t work. Factory reset next...?

Factory reset, the universal panacea for all smart device ails.. it so often works. Unless this is a problem of settings not properly syncing between the Connect back-end, the app on the phone and the device, in which case I would not have a clue as to how to fix that.

Sorted.

Did a ‘’Reset Default Settings’’ and voila it is fixed.

Had to do the whole Spotify thing again, but all other settings and activities were retained.
