Shuffle mode problem

During the last couple of years at least I'been running with the same playlist of around 300 songs. Problem is that shuffle play alway same songs no matter how long you run, songs are always the same. This is by no means a Garmin problem, every shuffle in every device for some reason gives priority to same songs.

I'm asking to have the possibility to shuffle between songs that has never been played or some sort of tweak to improve this behaviour

It may help to report it on the submit ideas page, because Garmin doesn't really pick up requests done here.

I'm not an expert on this, but the lack of true randomness could be due to the pseudo-random generator. To keep the computing quick and conserve power, it will have limitations. If that is the case, rebooting the watch may change the sequence.

Some low cost MP3 players 'shuffle play' files in the order they are in the internal filesystem. So if the order of the shuffle play is always _exactly_ the same even after a reboot, that may be the case.

Lastly, if you haven't already, rule out issues with supported music file types. Check if the songs that are never chosen, do actually play if selected manually.

Thanks for your answer, I already send it to Garmin. If I choose to play songs in order every one play well.
