new owner -- Not Getting Sleep Tracking or current HR on GC

I did search of forum but saw nothing recent -- at least not since FW 14.0

1. Anyone else have this issue?

2. My guess is if I call G support they will first say do a reset, right?

3. Dumb question -- if I do a reset, do I have to re-sync my sensors/ headphones?

4. (unrelated) question -- has anyone seen the F6 screen and compared to F5+? Is it MUCH better? I have older eyes and am wondering if I should have taken the plunge and got the better resolution F6...

Did you use another Garmin device before? If so, check if the F5+ is set as your primary fitness tracker in the phone app: https://support.garmin.com/en-US/?faq=e3gcLbODQF0jUrDnB7FGK8

As to #1-#3: Did you try re-pairing the F5+ and your phone?

What you describe would be explained by having another device set as the preferred tracker.

thanks -- that was the issue. my older VA3M was set as primary tracker.

(I did a reset anyway, re-paired the F5+ and selected option to set it as primary tracker. NOW my current HR shows up in GC and I assume sleep tracking will work. I will post back if it does not).
