Pulse ox and respirations

I recently bought a Fenix 5 plus. Is the pulse ox and respiration rate available on this device? If so how do I get it to show ?

Its a different sensor and Pulse Ox was never included in the F5+. It was a unique feature of the F5X+ when it was launched. If you read the Garmin Website or the pack, this is clear.

Only available on the fenix 5x plus unfortunately.

If that's the case, it's really unfortunate. I searched high and low (including my owners manual) for how I'd enable Pulse Ox but couldn't find the app. I didn't come across anything that said it wasn't available in the 5 plus. The manual that loads when I enter my serial number is fenix 5/5S/5X Plus... and it has the Pulse Ox instructions... clearly the Fenix 5 Plus is different.

Certainly seems to beg the question as to what watch this video is referring to (disclaimer video is June 2018... so perhaps they took the feature away)? www.youtube.com/watch

On the video you have mentioned it states in text on the pulse ox aclimation part that the feature is only available on the 5x plus.

If you are able to return the 5+, the Forerunner 945 has these features and is less expensive than a F5X+.
