GPS Tracking Issues

Recently, my GPS doesn’t track my run correctly. See pic above. I’ve had my Fenix 5+ for a few years with hardly any issues. This has happened 3 times this month. Could it be due to the latest firmware 13.00? Has anyone had the same issues?

    Same here

  • You will find lots of discussions with hints about GPS tracking in this forum. If you expect support, you should give more information. If you complain about the straight line, you may have auto pause switched on. Or is the yellow thing the track?

Happened to me today: First run on Firmware 14.00.

    3 hints:

    - open the fit file on fitfileviewer.com. Check if you get empty coordinates (position long/lat) during the "straight line".

    - In Garmin connect, enable laps in the map.  You may see the milestones out of the GPS track.

    - next run, check the map frequently.  In my case, I saw a good trace, so the data corruption occurred when saving the file.
