Fenix 5 Plus Series - 13.72 Public Beta

Hello Fenix 5/5S/5X Plus users,

We have new beta software ready for your upcoming adventures!

Note: Please allow for the updates to propagate across all servers. There is no need to post that the link does not work. It will after a bit of patience.

13.72 Change Log Notes:

Added support for watch face and data field settings with CIQ 3.2.
Added support for data field alerts with CIQ 3.2.

Please note, the beta updates released on these forums are not suitable for APAC region devices.

Direct access to their Jira, Bugzila, Trello or whatever else they use might be even more efficient.

No mention if livetrack autostart was fixed from 13.71... I'll give it a miss

Update: did another test: no autostart. I'll report this.

Thanks beta team, as always I'm happy with the ongoing development. However, I did a quick test and LT 'auto start' did not work. Perhaps the test was too short of duration and distance, I'll do a longer test later today.

What is the point uploading betas while even version 14.00 will have tons of bugs! Just make version 13.72 official and any other and stop calling it beta...

Rather than multiple people reporting bugs via email, wouldn't it make more sense for the beta team to read the thread devoted to the beta?...

Just a heads up but the ^^ referring to the post above loses its meaning when selecting 'Newest' to reorder the posts.

But of course I've now put a meaningless post (or two) above yours it works

You can also see now why the beta team have better things to do than wade through drivel like this.

I get what you are saying ;) but there is generally less than 20 posts in a beta thread so it would take all of 2 minutes to have a quick gander.

The main issue I have is that having contacted support and beta teams many times I am never told via email if an issue I have reported is fixed and the change log does not seem to list all fixes. So it tends to be a case of keep installing updates and hope for the best! A more detailed change log would go a long way.

For the record, so far I have seen the following issues while using this beta and reported them: automatic do-not-disturb during normal sleep hours not working, livetrack autostart not working, distance recording stops after transient GPS signal loss.
