3rd party gpx files no longer being opened by garmin connect

I have previously downloaded and opened many gpx files on my phone, which automatically open connect on the new course setup screen. Now connect opens, but says there was a problem. When I go directly to the gpx file, and select OpenWith, I am told no apps on my device can open a gpx.

Maybe you should post this in the GC App part of the forum.

I just uploaded a gpx-file which I downloaded before from Komoot by a tip on the file in the file explorer. It automatically opened in the GC…

Maybe you should post this in the GC App part of the forum.

I just uploaded a gpx-file which I downloaded before from Komoot by a tip on the file in the file explorer. It automatically opened in the GC App (Android) as a course. When I select "open with" I see Garmin Connect, Garmin Express and a few other apps. So my recommendation is to check the settings of your phone.
