I went running this morning, just to realise that apparently the battery of my HRM run died. It’s possible as it should be about time from my memory. But there was no warning message or any notification displayed on my Fenix 5 Plus regarding that.
Is this normal? My Polar M400 notified me when the battery needed a replacement soon. I have difficulties to believe there is no warning message on a high priced watch/HR strap combo as this?
I’ve changed the battery in mine three or four times. Everytime it has just died without any notification, and without any hints like dropouts or anything in the periods before the battery dies.

I usually get a brief warning message on my watch when a HRM battery goes low. You can also check the battery status somewhat under the watch's sensor menu. Somewhat meaning it tells you if the battery…
Mine died twice. Both times no notification.
Another thing to add up to the list of Garmin annoyances.
