I have had similar issues a couple of times.
It has always been a replacement cable that has been the solution. So that's my bet if You have had it working in the past.
Other things to try: Power down and back the watch, reboot the computer (seriously). This happens to me pretty often (but with my 6x Pro Solar). Power cycling the watch usually fixes it.
Also worth a try: cleaning the contacts on the cable and the watch with (isopropyl)alcohol, keeping an eye on the watch while you connect it to the PC to check that it stays in transfer mode, wiggling the cable (replace it if it is suspect), another USB port on the PC, or another PC.
