13.00 Change Log Notes:

Fixed an issue where bike lights were staying on during non-cycling activities.

For those of you who are interested, here are the full list of changes since 12.00:

Added support for descriptive WiFi errors when syncing music.
Fixed an issue where certain maps may report v0.00 in GarminDevice.xml intermittently.
Fixed an issue where the Heart Rate field was getting clipped on the watchface.
Fixed an issue where bike lights were staying on during non-cycling activities.

Please note, the beta updates released on these forums are not suitable for APAC region devices.

I power it off after every activity, as I wrote. So, what do you think :)

In order to get the right elevation - you have to calibrate your watch.. This is quite normal for most watches regardless of type/brand.

Calories has been an issue for a long time when it comes to hiking…

hi i have the same problem.
after the update the battery consumption is enormous.

I train 7 days a week. 5 run sessions, 3 swimm sessions and 3 bike sessions. I used to charge the battery every 7-9 days now every day.
I have tried everything but nothing.
yesterday i charged the battery to 100%. then I ran 12km and it was down to 83%. this morning it was 60%.
Now I tried to downgrade the sw bt and ant but things don't seem to have changed.
I charged the battery to 100% and in two hours, without using it, the battery is 81%

Have you tried switching it off briefly right after you sync activity to Garmin connect? For me it works, but I have to do it after every activity which is irritating.

no I have not tried
but the problem is that I am preparing a marathon and now I have to do the very long runs with predefined speeds.

The battery runs out in two hours if I plug in the bt headphones

Did you power off/on your device after the FW upgrade?

For me, if I do it (turning off and on), then the next activity records normally without the drain. But then, AFTER the activity, it needs another powering off and on. This is how I managed to record uo to 1.30 h activity with GPS and headphones with much less than 50% battery, so it might work as a temporary fix. Plz let me know if it does :)

yes i did.

Now I have downgraded the bt / ant software to version 5.04

I fixed the issue by reverting back to the prior BT firmware. Still using ver 13 Fenix firmware.
