Surfing program?

All the surfing program for the garmin watches kind of suck- there’s no proper wave tracking to be displayed in garmin connect on the map- Surfline connect would be great too, much like the fenix 6.

are we SOL here or will the surf program be available for the fenix 5+? Even one that used the map would be nice

I'd love to see better surf logging as well. There are apps and data fields, but they don't have access to all surf data. I'd like to see the fenix 6 and Instinct Surf Edition functionality be made available to the Garmin 5 (Plus) series as well. I can't imagine the hardware being the limiting factor here.

I agree. I also have a Fenix5+ and surf multiple times a week. I'm not going to bin my Fenix to get the Instinct surf, I'd probably go for a Rip Curl watch before that. The current activity tracking is poor at best.

I sent out a tweet to Garmin and they told me to submit it to their engineers using Garmins Ideas Portal.
