Fenix 5+ won't detect HR on Bose SoundSport Pulse anymore

I used to be able to pair the HR on my SoundSport Pulse. I've reset the headphones, removed the device, and tried pairing again. The headphones connect, however the HR isn't being picked up by the watch. Other devices pick up the HR just fine. I believe the last time I ran with the headphones was in May and used the HR. Has anyone been able to connect it successfully?

I'm not familiar with this device, but in general: what did you already try in order to get it to work? Which devices show up in the sensors list on the Fenix 5 Plus? Did you try deleting any existing pairings of the device -on phone as well-, then re-pairing and connecting? This page has some info: community.bose.com/.../256000

  • My BOSE SoundSport Pulse worked when I first bought my Fenix 5 plus.  After the second Firmware update on watch they stopped working.  BOSE replaced the headphones and still no love.  I gave up on trying to pair the Pulse HR monitor to my Fenix.  The pulse work with everything else iPhone 8, iPad Mini 5th generation, toughbook, ipod 3, ipod 4, and Bowflex Max Trainer 8.

  • I had the opposite happen. The headphones stopped working on my watch after I updated the headphones. The firmware that I updated them to prevented them from being rolled back. I ended up returning them to Costco where I bought them and switched to a chest strap. Shame because I really loved the headphones during runs.
