Garmin Fenix 5x plus doesn't start

When power on , blue triangle appears and goes after 10-12 sec. Nothing more. Hard reset or service menu not possible to do.

Any ideas?

PS when charger connected it is blue triangle for 10 sec, blank sreen after

There is a way to hard reset the watch on the blue triangle screen... It involves pressing a combination of buttons and waiting for beeps.... I can't remember the exact procedure... so someone here might know.... or just make a quick phone call to product support.

Make sure you have sufficient charge. You could also try plugging in to your computer and firing up Garmin Express. See if that starts.

Forced reset:

When powered down:

Press top left
Immediately you see the blue triangle press and hold top and bottom right together.
On first tone release top right, on second tone release bottom right

If that doesn't work, contact Garmin Support

Sometimes you have to try to do it 2-4 times to get it right. (It is a timing issue, of when to release and hold buttons)

i had same issue as you in febuary 2020...after trying soft reset, hard reset etc i had to contact seller, they send watches to garmin and after 25 days they send me new watches. i asked what was the problem and seller was unable to tell me.
