Reboot when connecting to Tempe

Whenever I have Wifi enabled and connect to any of three Tempe sensors (to select the one outdoors, for example), the watch immediately reboots. I was wondering if anyone else has noticed this. It has been this way with every software version since I have the device, so it is not likely to be related to the software. It's not a problem, I can do without Wifi on the watch, I just would like to know if it is a common thing or not. If not common, I suspect a power (battery) issue - I'm preparing for battery replacement anyway, but this would be useful information.

Edit: Found it - own fault. It started happening also while Wifi was off. It was only one particular sensor, the other Tempes are connecting just fine. The problem is with one that I had repaired years ago. The case had been opened and it wasn't water proof anymore. Should not have used it outdoors. Probably moisture in it causing it to misbehave. It will probably be fine after drying and a new battery.

  • I have the 5+, have WiFi enabled (Auto upload on) and my watch connects to my (single) Tempe sensor just fine. I have never had this issue. I have the Tempe sensor on one of my bikes and as far as I can remember it's always connecting fine.
