HRM-TRI and Fenix 5X Plus

Hello friends!
Please help me solve my problem with HRM-TRI heart rate monitor.

I have a Fenix 5X Plus and a Garmin HRM1G heart Rate Monitor (legacy from Forerunner 110). This tandem works great.

I bought HRM-TRI to get more metrics and can't even get a heart rate. Fenix finds and connects a heart rate monitor. However, the heart rate monitor does not transmit the heart rate reading and other metrics. It is not possible to take readings in any activity (running, Cycling).

What could be the problem? Fenix SW 11.00

I tried connecting HRM-TRI to the Vivoactive 4 watch. the Result is the same, the heart rate monitor connects, but does not transmit a pulse.

Apparently the problem is in the heart rate monitor?

Just as a start, try a new batterie in HRM

And make the two sensor at HRM wet before wrapping around your chest

the heart rate monitor while lying on the table drained the CR2032 battery and stopped connecting to the watch. The voltmeter showed that the charge dropped from 3.2 to 1.8 volts in a week. I changed the battery to a new one and the heart rate monitor started to connect, but the heart rate values and other metrics are not transmitted either in real time or after the workout is over

When the sensor is not wetted with water, it does not connect to the watch. I always wet it profusely before connecting, but it doesn't help for heart rate measurement

My HRM TRI does not show this behavior. It can rest for several weeks w/o impact to battery lifetime.

IMHO the HRM has a problem, try to return it.

Be careful what you lay it on. There are electrical contacts on the back, so if you lay it one something that conducts electricity (metal table, etc), it may think it's being worn and doesn't sleep.
