Can the Fenix 5 record putting when used to record golf?

Can the Fenix 5 record putting when used to record golf? It records other shots just fine, I'd just like to know if I'm missing something.

No, the watch itself won't detect putts and in my experience it is very sporadic when it comes to capturing chips shots and drives off a tee. You can apparently edit the rounds in the Garmin Golf app after your round but I don't see any value in that.
