Virtual running ..... when?

Wondering if the Fenix 5plus family ever will get the feature of virtual running. Fenix 6 and Forerunner 945 have it. Fenix 5plus is still been sold by Garmin, I do not understand why we do not have this feature.

    The F6 and FR945 have newer HW and have capabilities that are probably not available in the F5Plus.  Now that Garmin has the F6 released, the F5/F5plus would be considered feature complete, so only expect bug fixes/CIQ improvements which are supportable by the HW.
