Dear all,

Is real that Garmin is not updating Fenix 5X Plus for Virtual Run activity? Just for Fenix 6 and Forerunner?

I think that is not serious at all. That Watch costs almost 800 €....

If that ends up being the case, I don’t think I will choose a Garmin as my next watch. It’s sad as imho they have the best wearables on the market, but competitors are catching up and I am fed up to be milked like a cow by paying 800 euro for a high end watch which will start to become obsolete and discontinued within 2 years.

I would have expected a more empathetic Garmin with the confinement situation for Covid19, releasing virtual run for the Fenix5 family.

If true and there isn't a limiting factor, like hardware, then I'm extremely disappointed in Garmin. Driving consumers to upgrade electronics by withholding software features is wasteful of our planet's resources and not really a practice I look for in companies that I give my money to.
