fenix 5x plus annoying pairing problem

since software update my phone will not pair(galaxy note 9) that is after total reset and all advice I could find. Garmin I spent 6 hours on this today and am super annoyed!!!!

My marathon(isolated) is next week and I need help please

not just the pairing its the following

Headphones dont pair

When it does I cannot hear the music

battery drain

At least I have my health :-)

Sorry, no idea without further details — my F5+ connects without issues to every device I have: Galaxy A40, Galaxy A3, Nexus 7, several Taotronics Headphones, Anker Speakers. No battery drain.

i tried my old forerunner 620 and it paired like a dream with the same phone so its for sure my garmin fenix 5x plus. I tried the factory reset deleting all data too, i closed all apps and tried after restart but its constantly in "Waiting for phone" on bluetooth. My hrm will not pair now either..

I will try doing another reset today of all but if this doesnt work I will expect a replacement as its a saphire model and it wasnt cheap

so another 6 hours today trying everything including a factory reset of my phone. 900 euros after 1 year this watch is very dissapointing. Contacting Garmin for action

I got as far as pairing but it never made it past 30% progress bar and the same occurred on my galaxy a8 so its for sure the fault of the watch.

Maybe your watch wants do download an update? A work around could be that you connect with your PC and sync/update via Garmin Express. Maybe after that a Bluetooth connection might work better.
