Which activity to use for indoor football, florbl game?

Hello,

It would be nice to have activity also for sports played in sport Hall (football, florball,...) I am using indoor running, but accuracy is very bad when comparing to other brands and also I know that I run during one hour more then just 700m. Very expensive watch withiut that activity. Any ideas?

What other brands are giving you accurate GPS distance indoors when playing indoor sport? Unless you use a calibrated footpod you are unlikely to get accurate distance. Even then, the stop go nature of…

GPS is not even turned on during indoor activity. I was talking about gyroscope sensor. I just see that other brands algorithm seems better if we are talking about distance calculation for indoor activities…

What other brands are giving you accurate GPS distance indoors when playing indoor sport? Unless you use a calibrated footpod you are unlikely to get accurate distance. Even then, the stop go nature of football etc and the rapid changes in pace will make it even more unlikely that you will get accurate distance.

if you purchased a GPS watch to accurately gather distance/pace information when playing indoor sports then you purchased the wrong watch.

Garmin offers differs type of activity, some of them are even very rare for people doing sports, not very common.. And still activity like indoor football is not included and I think a lot of people playing it inside. Am I wrong?
