Fenix 5 Plus Series - 10.10 Release Candidate

Hello Fenix 5/5S/5X Plus users,

We have new beta software ready for your upcoming adventures!

This software version is our next Public Release Candidate. This means that this software will become a public update, as long as we do not identify any critical bugs in this version. We would appreciate any feedback on v10.10.

Note: Please allow for the updates to propagate across all servers. There is no need to post that the link does not work. It will after a bit of patience.

After update compass always indicate to south (between 188 and 210 degrees). Calibration does not work.

Since having this updated automatically, I've found my pace randomly dropping out. I have a Stryd footpod, and also run with Huawei Freebuds 3. In my last 3-4 runs, I've found the connections drop out, and i have to reconnect with the freebuds. Starting to become really irritating. Anyone else having connection issues? previous firmware didnt have these issues for me.

Two things.. You are hijacking a thread that have not been active for more than 14 days.. You should create a new issue.

You are commenting on the 10.10 Rlease Candidate and comment and not the final one. You should create a new issue.

Besides from that notice that stryd have gotten updated several times the last 14 days.. Also verify that you are running the right stryd app as there are more than one.

2 Things:

People have commented similar issues with this release candidate (I don't really care if it's the RC or final thread, it's the same issue).

Stryd hasn't updated the firmware on the previous stryd footpod in 6months.

Hi Jonathon,

did you connect the Stryd as BT or ANT+ footpod? I use Stryd wind connected via ANT+ without any problem with 10.10 and 10.71. But I'm not using BT headphones. Possibly having Freebuds and Stryd both on BT causes the error?

I've had it connected as FP - so with ANT+. I've also seen the issue with a reset 10.10 firmware with no freebuds paired or connected. I've updated to the 10.71 firmware today, so will check out my run this eve for dropouts and go from there. I've also had both Stryd and Garmin support chatting to me in emails, but not yet got to the bottom of it. Just thought i'd post here to see if i've got an isolated issue, or if other folks are finding a similar problem.

I recently updated to the 10.10 firmware and now my match has problems. Firstly it seems I have lost all my local music files and I am unable to play any music at all. I have tried removing the music and uploading it again and still no joy.The battery drain is higher now, since the update.

Hope you can introduce some fixes for this bugs
