New Fenix 5 Plus- Stress Level is always high

Thank you for your response. I attached few screenshots, do you think it is normal stress level when resting heart rate is 73. 

I am not a doctor, but I have a degree in sports sciences. A "normal" resting heart rate should be around 60bpm. The more you are fit the lower your resting heart rate should be. Values up to 100bpm are usually considered normal (but again I am not a doctor). My values for today are resting 53, high 109 (no workouts today), stress level 30. Yesterday 51, 163 (i did a 16km run) and 28.

Are you able to take a manual pulse to compare with what you're watch is reporting? As others have said, you have a high resting heart rate according to your watch.

My watch also shows high stress rate during the day no matter what i am doing.

Got this issue since over a year not changing with any firmwareversion.

Not sure about the heart rate itself (depends on so many variables, age, gender, BMI, level of fitness, sleep quality, etc), always thought that anything between 60 and 100 is not to worry about, but I'm not qualified to guess about that.

Don't 100% trust the OHR sensor. Measure your pulse rate yourself a few times. It doesn't work a 100% all of the time for everyone. And then what does the algorithm determine to be "stress", it probably works for the majority of people, but that doesn't mean it works as expected for every individual.

My stress level is always high after eating. When I have a really active day and don't sit except around meal time, stress is only measured during meal time, resulting in a high overall stress level. Especially sugary stuff elevates my "stress level" lots. So holiday season = a ton of stress ;-)

Everyone is different: coffee (with caffeine) lowers my HR quite a bit. The conditioned reflex to the smell and taste of a nice, relaxing cup of coffee is stronger that the effect of the caffeine. Things can just be weird and variable.

Well I have the same “issue” since the last update. I exercise 4 times a week and have a resting HR of around 65. However since the new update my stress rate is super high and this I believe comes from this new update.
