Brand new out of the box the battery does not last 24 hrs

Fenix 5S plus - brand new out of the box, the battery does not last 24hrs. I have turned everything I can think of off but it still goes flat by the end off the day? What can I do as I am extremely disappointed with such an expensive failure!

Did you do a firmware update after you unpacked the watch? if yes, then turn of the watch - wait 30 seconds and turn it on again. Batterydrain is normal when updating firmware. If you have peeked around the forum, you'll notice this is the normal fix.

Steps to take:

Read the manual.
Read some posts in the forum
If still not sorted talk to your retailer or Garmin Support.

Was the watch battery drained flat when you bought the watch?..did you see a blue triangle at start up .. or did the Garmin logo appear on start up only after you charged it.....

Had the same issue. Just returned the watch and bought a new one - 90% instead of 0% batt at the end of the day.
