Help please

I currently have a Forerunner 620 which takes ages to connect to GPS. I am thinking of buying a Fenix 5 plus, would this connect quicker to GPS please.

Depends on your definition of ages I guess.

My F5+ usually gets GPS lock within 10 seconds. On rare occasions it might take a bit longer (~30-60 secs).

Great title for the thread, really helpful.

It probably has an expired epo.bin (look it up if you want to know more). Expired means > 1 week old. To refresh it you will need to connect it with the usb cable and perform a successful sync with Garmin Express. No need to buy a new watch just for that.
