Looking for headphones that don't drop out?

Jaybird Vistas worked flawlessly with my fēnix 5x Plus on the run and walk out of the box. Not a single drop out. The only issue I had with the Jaybird Vistas was some initial difficulty getting both sides to pair together. I previously used Plantronics Backbeat Fit 2100 and almost tossed both the watch and headphones into the Gulf of Mexico due to the frequent drop outs on my first run. After feverishly searching the forums for a definitive answer on a model with no reported drop outs, I instead searched for headphone models with the bluetooth receiver on either the left side or in both ears, hence my selection of the Vistas and a one-day shipping solution to a maddening problem.

I use the Samsung Galaxy ICONX 2018 which work great with my F5 Plus, I initially had drop outs, but once I assigned the left earbud as the main one, they have worked flawlessly.

I use Avantree Sacool Pro headphones. They never drop out, are comfortable and the sound quality is good.

And they only cost about £20, I am quite fussy about sound quality and find these perfectly good quality for using out and about or sat at my desk. Okay they may not be as good as headphones costing many times their price they are hard to beat.

I have used Plantronics Backbeat FIT 350's many times and they VERY RARELY drop. Like they've dropped 2-3 times ever for just a fraction of a second.

I have also used a trial pair of aftershokz's from the store I run from and they seemed to work fine too. no issues on a 12 mile run. These were the older version.

I have used 5 different Chinese Bluetooth headphones for less than $20 - without any problem.

are you aware if you can do the same with the Galaxy buds? Mine dropout a bit if I wear the watch on my left wrist.

It's early days for this solution, but so far it has worked for me - When you open the bud box remove only the left bud and put it in your ear. Close the box. Now start your music from the watch and it will be audible in the left ear. Now remove the right ear bud from the box and place it in your ear and you'll be good to go.

The right bud is now paired to the left bud, not the watch. I've confirmed this by removing the left bud and walking away from it. The right bud continues playing music for a bit, but gives up when you're too far away from the left bud. The position of the watch has no effect on the right bud at this point.

Maybe you can simplify the steps, but that's worked for me.
