Version 9.0 impressions

I'd love to be able to give mine, but I'm not part of the intial rollout.

Anyone notice anything good, bad, indifferent? My watch actually crashed this AM when I took it off to shower. The light stayed stuck on, and turned off when I picked it up... but then it was completely frozen. I had to hold the Light button for a good 10 seconds until it shut off. It seems fine now, but I've never seen this behavior before; I have a 25k trail race on Saturday, and I won't be happy if it locks up during it!! It's never locked up before so I'm hopeful it was a one and done. There was also MASSIVE battery drain while it was locked up; it lost about 20% battery life in an hour.

Otherwise, thrilled with the watch; I'm hoping 9.0 does completely fix iOS notifications sometimes not appearing. 8.4 was a huge improvement, but still, I went from having to toggle my Bluetooth twice a day to once every other day.

Following your logic, I don't have to wait and see for anything. I know already by pure magic. Just like you. And if anyone comes with actual experience, it doesn't trump my magic.

Wallet is lost after update.
The watch says "Wallet is empty. Set up using Garmin Connect Mobile".
The Garmin Connect Mobile doesn't show wallet at all.
I'm running latest version of Garmin Connect Mobile for Android.

Not for me.
The wallet is still active in my fenix 5x plus ( FW 9.00) and in my BQ Aquaris X PRO Android 8.1.0 (GC 4.23.1)

Thanks for that - it's wiped mine from the phone and the app. When I go to add a card on the app it tells me the watch is not connected, which it is (is syncing, Find my Phone works etc).

I nearly got caught on that - I was out on the mountain bike this morning and was considering stopping for coffee on the way home. I had my phone, but still....

Just an update on battery power....

Using stock watchface...using just one complication...."the time" in digital format... with the screen refreshing once a minute.... Bluetooth, Hrm, sensors active...Pulse Ox off... no GPS activity......

I get over a period of 12hrs using "my battery" widget...

0.199% per hour since last charge..

Using the same method as above.. but this time using my chosen CIQ watchface.. (which also refreshes the screen once a min) ... I get..

0.310% per hour since last charge..

I might try a once a second refresh watchface next... se how much difference that will make.

With the latest update of Android Connect Mobile to version 4.24.1 the wallet is available again.
