Wrong Step Distance calculation without GPS

Hello,

just a few weeks ago I switched from Fitbit to Garmin Fenix 5 Plus and now i have a problem with the activity "Go" without GPS.

I go a flat bike path by means of "walking + GPS" and get a distance of about 1km displayed, I go the same route back to the car, but this time without GPS, i get a distance of only 0.32km displayed. The recorded steps of both activities are almost identical, so something is wrong when calculating the distance without GPS. In the settings I have already tested the standard step length as well as a user-defined, in both cases the error continues without GPS support.

    I have the exact same problem. Distance calculated while walking with GPS turned off is about a 1km less than walking with GPS turned on. Custom stride length doesn't solve my problem as suggested on other forums.
