Give watch to someone

I purchased a new Fenix 6, so I am giving my old 5 to my sister. How do I link the watch to her phone?

    What model are you giving to your sister?..  : - ) 

    Just get her to load connect mobile on her phone.... then pair the watch.... follow the on screen instructions....then load Garmin Express on her pc.... and pair the watch there to...

    Set the watch back to factory settings before pairing it with Garmin Connect. Then I am pretty sure that a wizard will lead her all the way through the setup.

    Unless you intend to use your phone and GCM account then:

    • Delete from GCM on your phone.
    • Delete from Bluetooth settings.
    • Delete from Garmin Express on your computer.
    • Delete from Garmin Connect on the interweb.
    • Log into My Garmin  and remove the watch from your account.
    • Factory reset the watch and remove all data and settings
    • When you restart the watch you'll get asked to pair with a phone. Follow those steps, creating a Garmin account if needed. 
    • Connect to computer and pair with Garmin Express and associated GC account.

    You don't need to delete GCM from your phone. Just do the following:

    • Remove watch from your GCM and cloud account
    • Return watch to factory settings
    • Install GCM on her phone and register the watch (using the wizard)

    He didn't say delete GCM - he said delete from GCM.

    I would recommend doing all the steps suggested by @philipshambrook even if some might "cancel out" others - just to be sure.

    When selling my old Vivoactive I thought I had done everything to remove it from my account, but months later I happened to find traces of it in places I didn't even knew existed (like My garmin).
