disable performance data

Hi All

Quick one to ask if turning off performance notifications will also stop the watch calculating them during a ride or just stops displaying them?

If the latter, then is there a way to temporarily turn off performance calculations on the watch whilst still using my power meter?

No, just display. You can still see it in Garmin Connect. Much better like this IMHO, not to get demotivated while running ;-).
